The chickpea is an annual plant often incorporated into crop rotation programs, which is when various crops are planted in the same field in a particular order. Its Latin name is Cicer arietinum L, and there are mentions of it in Ancient Greek under the name “ereventhi" . Its high nutritional value fuels the body with an abundance of nutrients.

Our chickpeas are grown in Macedonia and Thessaly.

When we grow them

They are sown in November and harvested in June.

Why they are good for us
