Cauliflower is a herbaceous plant and a cruciferous vegetable which can grow up to 80 cm tall. It has long leaves and a flower head that constitutes the edible part of the plant. It originates countries in the Eastern Mediterranean, but there are numerous references to it in Ancient Greek and Egyptian sources. As a source of proteins and vitamins, cauliflower is very beneficial to our health.

Our cauliflower is grown in Macedonia and Thessaly.
When we grow it
It is sown between May and September and harvested between October and April.

Why it is good for us
As a source of proteins, cauliflower contributes to good bone health as well as to the maintenance of muscle mass. Its high vitamin C content strengthens the immune system and, at the same time, reduces fatigue.
