More specifically, the leading food company was awarded the Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL-EU1) certification for its frozen and fresh vegetables production in the Green and Gold categories, respectively.
This standard conforms to the strictest national and EU standards, and has been awarded in recognition for BARBA STATHIS’ responsible management of both organic and non-organic waste, as well as for the company’s efficient planning of initiatives to prevent waste from ending up in landfills.
