BARBA STATHIS participates in the Greek pledge to improve how food is advertised to children
BARBA STATHIS has announced its participation in the Greek Pledge, a voluntary initiative to improve the way food and beverages are advertised to children. The company is joining forces with the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries (SEVT) and the Hellenic Advertisers Association (SDE) to renew its commitment to marketing to minors.
The Greek Pledge comprises a collection of shared voluntary actions and commitments by companies operating in the food and beverage industry regarding the promotional means that they employ. It is a self-imposed code of conduct followed by companies in the sector, with the ultimate goal of tackling childhood obesity, as well as other non-communicable diseases related to it, while at the same time promoting balanced dietary standards.
This particular action falls within the framework of BARBA STATHIS' corporate responsibility strategy and is a reflection of the company’s responsible and consistent way of communicating with consumers, as well as its commitment to promoting balanced eating habits and nutritional standards that contribute to well-being.
