From Farm to Table | The Story of a Female Producer

The year 2026 has been declared by the United Nations as the International Year of the Woman Farmer, highlighting the vital role women play in primary production and agri food systems.  

In this spirit, BARBA STATHIS presents a new feature as part of the “From Farm to Table” series, showcasing the story of a salad producer from Nafplio who shares her daily life in cultivation, the challenges she faces, and her collaboration with the company.

With many years of experience in vegetable production, she emphasizes on the importance of proper care at every stage of the process, noting: “When I see my vegetables growing, I feel proud. Every plant is like your child. You nurture it and look after it, and in the end it rewards you. You never leave it to chance.”
