BARBA STATHIS supports vulnerable children in cooperation with the NGO "Together for Children"

Placing social contribution at the forefront, "Together for Children" joins forces with BARBA STATHIS, providing nutritious meals to children in need. Over the past five years, the total contribution amounts to 770.000 meals for 4.629 vulnerable children. Specifically, this collaboration began in 2015, supporting children housed in child protection institutions. Since 2023, vulnerable families with minor children, beneficiaries of the Social Grocery Stores of municipalities partnering with "Together for Children," have been added to the program. Through BARBA STATHIS's valuable contribution, the monthly needs for vegetables and pulses are met for 64 institutions within and beyond Attica. This partnership is part of the "I Offer Because I Care" program, aimed at supporting children living in child protection institutions, as well as enhancing child protection structures. The program, which operates through a network of over 200 organizations across Greece, provides aid to approximately 18.000 children annually, offering food, basic necessities, toys, school supplies, clothing, footwear, and furniture.
