The company earned a gold award for its Primary School Educational Program "Take a Step For Healthy Eating" and a silver award for its 2022 Sustainable Development Report, highlighting its efforts in societal impact, good governance, and environmental stewardship.
The company received the gold award for its Primary School Educational Program "Take a Step For Healthy Eating,” hosted at its Thessaloniki headquarters since the 2021-2022 school year. This program has welcomed over 6,025 students from Central Macedonia, educating them on balanced nutrition and food waste through experiential games and interactive activities. The initiative aims to foster healthy habits and promote the nutritional value of vegetables, earning consistent praise and a 100% satisfaction rate from students, parents, and teachers.
BARBA STATHIS also won the silver prize in the "Corporate Responsibility Report" category for its 2022 Sustainable Development Report. This report details the company's performance and initiatives in terms of reducing its environmental footprint, its action plan and contribution to empowering society as a whole, as well as its operating framework regarding good governance indicators.
